Photographing families...it's what I love to do. I have been photographing children and their families in the Philadelphia area for over 8 years. With each new session the passion I have for my work continues to grow. As you look through my images it is my wish that you can share in the same joy that it brings me.
Here you will be able to view new sessions, sneak peeks and studio news. I'll also add images and ramblings about life on the farm. Never a dull moment here!
Please be sure to visit my old blog to view my past work. Click here to go directly to my website. There you will find my detailed portfolios as well as session information.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit...be sure to come back again!

Very soon these 2 beautiful families will become 1 family. I am photographing Kathy and Mike's wedding in a couple of weeks and instead of an engagement session they opted for a family session. Fitting I believe.
Mike is certainly surrounded by smart and beautiful women. The time we spent together was great and I am excited about the upcoming wedding.
Here are a few of my favorites so far.
When I was a teenager, my Mom (God love her), would come into my room, bang a pot over my head and yell "time to weed the beans!". Did I at 13 years old love to garden? I think not. Hanging out at the Frederick Town Mall on my Saturday sounded like much more fun. In fact...I remember thinking while I was making my way up those long rows and pulling out those nasty weeds, there would be no way on earth that I would work a garden. Ever...ever...ever.
So what do I do now? Work a garden. It consumes me this time of the year. My studio certainly keeps me busy but when I am not shooting you can find me here. So nice to take a break from the computer to get outside and get my hands dirty. I was excited to see my little babies waking up after a long winters sleep. I love growing perennials and have quite a few varieties of flowers and herbs that come up every year.
I'll be blogging the progress of the garden this season. Writing about this other passion of mine, taking photos (of course) and sharing information, tips and recipes. If you have any questions send them along!
Mom, thank you for this gift. For so many things in my life...you have been my teacher and mentor. Love you and thinking of you today.

Praying Mantis egg pod. Found my gardener's good luck today.
My precious Rufio at his usual spot. Every Spring he hangs here watches me work.
"Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today; and give us not to think so far away as the uncertain harvest; keep us here all simply in the springing of the year."
